As Lamborghini welcomes the new Huracan LP-610-4, the factory has released initial images for afficionados to evaluate.

In line with the Lamborghini tradition of naming models after famous bulls, the Huracan shares its moniker with a creature that fought Spanish arenas in 1879. It has a 600+HP engine capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 322km/h (200 mph).

Whilst the Huracan will share characteristics of the Gallardo it replaces, the new car will feature state of the art improvements, the most notable being the Huracan’s stiffer aluminum and carbon fibre chassis.

The Huracan will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.
